Recommendation:

The first phase of our project has been accomplished by sample collection from different mafic-ultramafic localities for an area of about 500 km2 in the southern part of the Eastern Desert, covering latitude 22° to 25°. Microscopic examination for all the collected samples were done and analytical investigation (Pt, Pd & Au) for some samples were made.

We should like to step to the second phase with a new strategy :

• Sample collection for localities of spatial extensions and large concentration rather than those of short extensions
• Sampling should be done for mountains not exceeding 500 m high for economic purposes
• To integrate our study to latitude 27° in order to assess the economic potentialities of the platinum-group element occurrences of Egypt in the proper way for exploitation.
